Mr. Alam was called to the Bar of England & Wales by the Hon'ble Society of Lincoln's Inn. During his stay in the UK, he used to work as an immigration advisor for a London based consultancy firm and few charitable organisations based in Brighton & London. Since returning to Bangladesh Mr. Alam has worked with few reputed lawyers and his last position was as a coordinator & associate for a well known law firm based in Dhaka. He conducts litigation on debt-collection matters, money suits, criminal cases etc.


Mr. Alam has advised several business houses in the last few years of his practice on various issues ranging from business setup options in Bangladesh to more complex matters like brand protection and business expansion. He is considered to be CLP's in-house expert on brand protection, Trademarks related issues, IP & family law. Recently, Mr. Alam has advised a foreign textile-conglomerate on Trademarks registration & counterfeit measures for their entire fleet of products and legal enforcement of their rights in Bangladesh against unauthorised uses. Mr. Alam also advises local and foreign traders on L/C fraud and recovery of debt . Presently, Mr. Alam is also acting as the head Legal Advisor for KFM Ltd. having few factories in the outskirts of Dhaka. He is also the legal advisor of Glorious Group.

Mr. Fahad Bin Qader

A promising young lawyer with over 3 years experience of working in corporate law chambers in Dhaka and London. At CLP Mr. Qader primarily oversees documentation tasks and acts as a consulting lawyer to several medium to big size companies and business entities. He has been involved in the past in drafting and formulating Mediation processes for his clients, attending Arbitration tribunals in Dhaka on various matters and providing opinions on complex legal issues to foreign clients. Mr. Qader is a keen follower of recent developments in ADR related laws and procedures in Bangladesh.

Mr. Rafinur Rahman

Mr. Rahman is an experienced young lawyer with keen interest in criminal and family matter litigations. He is a strong performer with considerable amount of knowledge & experience in the area. He has previously been involved with one of the most prominent family law practice in Dhaka. Mr. Rahman is a key addition to the team due to his knowledge and expertise. He has also worked on several civil suits mostly involving recovery of debts and land law related disputes. At CLP Mr. Rahman also advises clients on cheque dishonor, white collar crimes, fraud and related matters.

Mr. Enam Ahmed



Mr. Ahmed has been an intergral part of CLP since joining the firm in 2017. Mr Ahmed graduated from South East University, Dhaka and later completed pupillage under the firm's resident Senior Partner Barrister Hafizur Rahaman Khan.


At present the firm has entrusted Mr Ahmed with several retainer files and he regularly undertakes drafting and vetting related works.

Mr. Mamun is an experienced criminal law practitioner who works on Chambers' briefs regularly. Mr. Mamun is involved in several high value claims in the District Court as well. He has been an integral part of CLP since its inception and continues to be so.


Ms. Farhana Islam

Ms. Islam has excellent research and analytical skills. She regularly takes charge of complex research and advises clients by providing legal opinions and due diligence reports. She has been involved in high net worth service matters including the formation of a medium sized petrochemical company in recent past. She also takes a keen personal interest in family law and child custody matters. She has previously been employed by a reputed law firm in Dhaka. At present, she is also pursuing advanced training in Admiralty & Maritime Law from a top tier University.

Ms. Tasfia Tabassum


Junior Associate


Ms. Tabassum is a Barrister of England & Wales and is a key member of the team. Upon completion of her call to the Bar of England & Wales, she has joined CLP to progress her career further. She is responsible for providing support to the litigation team on a regular basis.
